    Stories says that surf appeared at first at Hawaii, by the Polynesian king Iahito.

    In Brazil, the 1st surfboards, named “Hawaiian boards”, were brought by tourists. 

    Surf is popular till nowadays and it keeps growing up, with regional, state and global competitions.  Today, everyone can surf, no matter how young or old you are. There are many different types of surfboards, according to the surfer.
